It consists of 5 infrared and 6 ultra violet lights.  
This is a custom light and only uses the brightest UV LED's available.
It runs on one 9 volt battery and usually lasts around four hours.

Why does Vortex only last four hours?

With this light there was a lot of trial and error and unlike other lights out there, they sacrificed and wanted a brighter light rather than longer battery life. Vortex full spectrum is a little different. They do not use the red ,green, and blue LED's but instead direct all of the battery power to the invisible light waves; IR and UV. Your Full Spectrum camera will already pick up those colors automatically.
